During IEW, please join the Institute for Regional and International Studies for a unique film series featuring international films curated by UW-Madison area studies centers.
Woven Lives provides a look at contemporary Zapotec weavers from six different villages. It is co-sponsored by the Latin American, Caribbean and Iberian Studies Program (LACIS), with introduction and post-screening Q&A with Carolyn Kallenborn, Assistant Professor of Design Studies, UW-Madison and the film’s creator.
