Description
The search for ways to aid in biodiversity conservation has acquired new urgency. There has been a shift in the value of human-dominated landscapes as wildlife habitat. This shift has accelerated in areas that normally do not receive attention from conservationists. Our speaker will present recent discoveries from South Asian agricultural areas in order to revisit current and past assumptions regarding “wildlife habitat,” and the negativity that surrounds areas with high population densities.
