Dr. Zhang Peng is the first primatologist in anthropology departments of China. He is appointed as Professor in Sun Yat-sen University of China, and Changjiang Distinguished Young Professor of Ministry of Education, China. He serves as Committee member of IUCN, Secretary-General of China Primatological Society, Editor of American Journal of Primatology, Acta Theriologica Sinica and Acta Anthropologica Sinica.
