Towards the Development of Adaptive Multimodal Displays

Dr. Sara Riggs, Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Clemson University, will summarize two recent research activities that help answer the following questions: (1) how movement affects tactile sensory perception and (2) how workload transitions affect performance and visual attention allocation. Dr. Riggs' research focuses on task sharing, attention management, and interruption management in complex environments.
