Description
Several instances of Black men dying at the hands of police in Spring 2015 raised the profile of the
issue of police treatment of Blacks, and more generally brought about renewed calls for a “national
conversation about race.” Working under the assumption that more intra- and inter-racial talk about
race-related issues is warranted, Dr. Eveland will discuss several of his studies examining inter-racial
political talk and talk about race-related issues in America since that time.
