Social influences can help African Americans, Latinos and Native Americans persist in science, technology, engineering and mathematics academic programs and careers. Social psychologist Mica Estrada’s will describe how institutional policies and climates that encourage kindness affirm social inclusion and improve the integration experience for students, faculty and administrators.
