Decolonizing Cultural Institutions

Join the TLAM student group for an afternoon of coffee and conversations with visiting Sami scholars Harald Gaski, Lena Kappfjell, Veli-Pekka Lehtola, and Jelena Porsanger about indigenous knowledge paradigms and decolonizing cultural institutions. The Sami people are Europe's only remaining indigenous peoples, whose traditional reindeer herding lands stretch across what is known as northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, and northwestern Russia.
