Description
Earth scientists are faced with making the critical observations that address societal challenges. Technology in remote sensing platforms continues to improve the view of our home planet. A great challenge we face today is better using this ever-larger mountain of data to improve life on earth for all, educate the public, and train students from all backgrounds. In this presentation, I will present my vision of SSEC leading in these areas and describe my experience through related initiatives.
