First-Year Seminar Series: Developing Students' Intellectual Confidence Using Library and Information Resources

The goal for the session is to introduce students to the resources, services and overall role of a large academic library, and encourage students to think critically about how information originates and is communicated through a variety of avenues such as social media, the news, and scholarly research.
