Global Health Seminar Series

Nicholas Makau, Director of Lea Toto Clinics and Nyumbani Village in Kenya, will discuss an innovative village that has been developed in Karen, Kenya, to respond in a sustainable way to the needs of AIDS orphans and their aged grandparents. The children and young persons are "given back their childhood" while the aged grandparents are given an opportunity to transfer their rich African culture to their grandchildren.
