Description
A history of the development of milking technology with a discussion of the state-of-the-art in robotic milking. Robotic milking technology has been adopted by hundreds of farms in Wisconsin and thousands of family farms around the world. A description of how robotic milking farms are organized and operated and the attraction to family farms will be discussed. He will present some development scenarios that expand the adoption of robotic milking.
