Yahara Lakes 101 with Cal DeWitt

This month's Yahara Lakes 101 features the Waubesa Wetlands. Opening us to a new look at an old gem, Cal DeWitt, professor emeritus in the Nelson Institute, will delve into the historical records readable from Waubesa’s great peat deposits, discover its developmental history and sustaining services to the lakes and their life, and then apply this to understanding and caring for our place in the Yahara chain of lakes.
