Critical Perspectives on Hmong Experience and Scholarship

The lecture will assess the different responses within the Hmong diasporic community in America to this nostalgia or longing for home and for the past. It focuses on the continued struggle by Vang Pao and members of his organization, the United Lao National Liberation Front, to form a free and democratic multiparty government modeled after the U.S. government and Constitution.
