Tanet Charoenmuang is a professor of political science, with emphases on decentralization and democratization in Thailand, and the rectangular growth of China, Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos in border areas. He will give a lecture about factors that have obstructed Thailand’s democratization process, the 4 years of a military dictatorship, as well as the prospects of the next February elections in Thailand, 2019.
