Description
Chinese Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is the most important traditional holiday in China and some other Southeast countries with significant Chinese culture background. The spring festival has been celebrated for thousands of years to honor deities and ancestor and to welcome a new coming of Chinese Lunar New Year. People pause their work and join their family members and relatives for a-week- long reunion. CSSA, as a RSO with the largest Chinese population, organized and hosted New Year Celebration on UW campus for the past two decades.
