Description
Dr. Dostilio will tell the story of the University of Pittsburgh’s place-based community engagement initiative, “Pitt Neighborhood Commitments”, which led to the development of several neighborhood-based community engagement centers. In this initiative, Pitt made a 15-year minimum commitment to investment, infrastructure, programming, and dedicated staff to mutually-beneficial, asset-based community relationships in two neighborhoods, supported by institutional policy and practice.
