The Anthropocene has ushered in a dramatic and accelerating convergence of crises for biodiversity and emerging infectious diseases on global scales. These challenges are existential, the outcome of threat multipliers and tipping-points across the biosphere directly driven by climate change. Consequences are considerable as the world leaves a period of relative stability that has characterized the last 10,000 years of technological humanity.
