Early photographers were like scientists, experimenting with different techniques. In this free flash gallery talk, Jim Lattis, the director of UW Space Place, will give a brief history of astrophotography punctuated by two objects on view—a simulated moonscape and an image captured by NASA’s Lunar Orbiter 3.
