Dr. Elizabeth Schenk, PhD, MHI, RN-BC, FAAN, will discuss environmental stewardship in nursing and the environmental impacts of healthcare. In particular, she will highlight the problem of healthcare pollution and how nurses can engage in pollution reduction. She will also provide information on what is being done to assist in the very complex problem of our environmental crisis as it relates to health and nursing practice.
