Jewish Heritage Lecture Series Kutler Lecture

David Hollinger UC-Berkeley, addresses the sometimes contested place of American Jewish history as a field within the larger field of American history, and Hollinger suggests that specialists in American Jewish history are sometimes less willing than they should be to proclaim the importance of Jewish history to the larger narrative of U.S. history.
