Description
The Chican@ & Latin@ Studies Coffee and Conversation series gives you a chance to talk informally with CLS faculty in a relaxed friendly setting. The event is free, and all are welcome. Our first faculty guest for Fall 2019 will be Almita Miranda, who has recently come on board as Assistant Professor of Geography and Chican@ & Latin@ Studies. Dr. Miranda will share insights from her work on transnational migrant communities and discuss her teaching plans at the University.
