Lee Redden is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-Founder of Blue River Technology, a company that builds robotic weeding systems for agriculture that use computer vision and deep learning to detect every individual plant and take centimeter precise ac ons on plant-by-plant basis. During this talk, Lee will go through his entrepreneurial journey - meeting a co-founder, finding the right idea, leaving his Ph.D. program, starting a company, raising money from top VC’s on Sand Hill Road and helping to build a business and team that was eventually acquired by John Deere for $305M.
