Bill Buckingham, PhD, is an Associate Scientist with
the Health Services and Care Research Program in
the Department of Medicine.He holds a Ph.D. in Environment and Resources and
an M.S. in Cartography and GIS. Dr. Buckingham has
been the technical lead in the construction of the
Area Deprivation Index, in conjunction with Dr. Amy
Kind. Dr. Buckingham has a long career working with
geospatial metrics to understand health and health
disparities across multiple scales and conditions.
