Description
Due to the rise of multi drug-resistant microbes, there is presently a serious health-care crisis. This requires the development of new, powerful antibiotic treatments, both chemical and biological. This talk will explore these topics and the ways in which new treatments are found.

Dr. Richard R. Burgess is James D. Watson Emeritus Professor of Oncology at the McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research at UW–Madison.
