Description
Mike Mossman, wildlife ecologist, and Michael Hansen, Arboretum land care manager, will talk about prescribed burns for land management and the effect on wildlife, especially breeding birds. Jill Metcoff will talk about photographing fire and sign her books. “Firelines: Humans and Habitat Renewal,” an exhibit of Metcoff's black-and-white photography, will be on view. Free, no registration required. Meet at the Visitor Center.
