Description
Haomin (Kirk) Yuan, Nuclear Engineer at Argonne National Labor, will discussNek5000 is an open-source Spectral Element Method CFD code developed in Argonne National Laboratory. It is the only CFD code in the NE-NEAMS program, which focuses on providing a simulation tool kit for the development and deployment of next-generation nuclear power technologies. Nek5000 has extremely well scalability for ten of thousands of MPI-ranks. Some recent development in Nek5000 will also be included in the talk.
