Description
Join Seth Schneider of UW-Milwaukee as he describes the latest research on the enigmatic Oneota sites of Lake Koshkonong. At least seven archaeological sites dating between AD 1050-1400 are present on the northwestern lakeshore. Recent work at one--the Crab Apple Point Site--reveals that it was a substantial village occupied over time by Late Woodland, Oneota, and Ho-Chunk residents.
