Description
Norman Fost, pediatrics and bioethics, describes how expanding genetic technology makes it more possible and interesting to study genetic factors in almost any human behavior and experience. Guidelines for ethically responsible genetic research have existed for decades. These will be reviewed using historical examples of problematic genetic studies and recent trends suggesting erosion of support for traditional guidelines.
