Outside Activity Reporting and Financial Conflict of Interest

Presenters Kathy Irwin and Brian Fox detail how federal grant-funding agencies and the State of Wisconsin have policies addressing conflicts of interest between the public and private activities, including: applicable laws, regulations and requirements; procedures used by the university to assess potential conflicts of interest; ways in which actual conflicts can be eliminated, minimized or managed; and examples of common conflicts of interest.
