LACIS Lunchtime Lecture Series

In Brazil, the coronavirus is not just a public health crisis, but a critical political and institutional juncture. With the number of infected exacerbating the health system and the people demanding solutions, political struggles within made even more difficult what was already an overwhelming challenge. This lecture will analyze this scenario to draw attention to a great deal about the Brazilian current political and institutional framework and also draw some lines for the future.
