Graphic Design for Game Artist Talk by Chanee Choi

Originally from South Korea, Chanee Choi is a multidisciplinary game artist and Ph.D. candidate in Art and Technology at DXARTS at the University of Washington who lives, works, and studies in Seattle, Washington. Employing Orientalist aesthetics, her work combines East Asian traditional crafts and new media, forming a hybrid genre focused on immersive experiences that explore the specific dynamics of East Asia’s history of hierarchical social structures through a feminist lens.
