Description
B. Venkat Mani, Global Studies and German and European Studies, goes through a discussion of the genre of the novel in translation, this paper examines historical and contemporary discussions of world literature. The paper situates the novel in the current print-culture economies of globalized consumption and makes a case for an innovative inventory of the "bibliothek" in an age of "biblomigrancy."
