Nutritional Sciences Seminar series. The primary focus of Dr. Bass’s group is to understand the molecular mechanisms through which the circadian clock regulates cell and organismal metabolism and the reciprocal feedback of metabolism on circadian oscillators in animals. His research has made significant contributions in elucidating how biological clocks regulate feeding behavior, glucose metabolism and aging.
