Whenever possible, the university recommends that events and meetings continue to be held virtually; it is highly recommended that in-person events also allow for virtual participation by attendees who choose not to or are unable to participate in person. Graduate Women in Science is hosting a panel discussion on diversity and inclusion (including race, LGBTQ+, culture, identity) in STEM. This panel features women scientists from diverse backgrounds (who are currently pursuing a graduate degree). They will be discussing their personal experiences, their thoughts on how we can reduce disparities in STEM, and answering questions. This event will be held on Monday, Nov 23rd at 5pm virtually.
