The focus is on Swedish education actions and reactions in to the COVID-19 pandemic as a part of the welfare state. Our interest is analyzing the responses to the crisis and the preconditions to the crisis to understand the actions and reactions to the crisis. The basic idea is that the COVID-19 pandemic hit Swedish society, turning it out of normalcy, and by this action, made the practices and agendas for agents, institutions, and their interactions visible for analysis.
