In this talk, I will reflect on how the past year has accelerated several trends in my work. My work has always centered on social determinants of ethnoracial disparities in health among Black American populations. Starting in the late 2010s, I began a program of research in gynecologic epidemiology that was grounded in Reproductive Justice, Intersectionality, and the Public Health Critical Race Praxis.
