Globus is a research data management service developed by the University of Chicago and used by thousands of researchers at institutions in the US and abroad. UW–Madison is in the process of deploying Globus for the university and is hosting this workshop to provide information about what Globus is and how it can make it easier to share and securely transfer data on your storage systems with collaborators at UW-Madison and other institutions.
