Next guest speaker: Vianey Leos Barajas, PhD (University of Toronto, Statistical Sciences and the School of the Environment)

  • Title of the talk: Identifying Latent Structures in Ecological and Environmental Data

  • Short bio: Vianey was born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, but was raised in Bakersfield, California. She received her PhD in statistics from Iowa State University and is currently an assistant professor at the University of Toronto, cross-appointed between Statistical Sciences and the School of the Environment.
