Arpaporn Powwattana, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand, implemented a community-level randomized, controlled study to evaluate an intervention to enhance Thai adolescent females' personal skills and sense of empowerment; and to reduce high risk sexual behavior. Powwattana will explain the efficacy of this intervention as adolescents mature in this dynamic culture.
