Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), including both negative experiences and trauma, can have a significant effect on children's well-being and throughout life. This presentation will explore a model of trauma and recent research on examples of ACEs and their effects.
Dr. Julie Poehlmann-Tynan approaches these forms of trauma by exploring the effect of negative experiences in childhood on lifelong wellbeing and by discussing recent research on Adverse Childhood Experiences.
