Wisconsin Hemp by Hand: Processing Hemp for Hempcrete

Graduate student, Veronica Pham in the Design Studies program, will use hemp hurds grown at UW-Madison to experiment with hempcrete in all its different forms, both functionally and sculpturally. Participants will learn the process of how to mix, build and sculpt with hempcrete making various hempcrete blocks for building insulation, artforms and functional objects.
