Colloquium at the Center on Education and Work

Presenter James J. Janisse, Fox Valley Technical College and Midwest Fab Lab Network. Short for Fabrication Laboratory, "Fab Lab" is a special lab comprised of off-the-shelf, digital fabrication and electronics tools integrated in open source software. The first Fab Labs in the country outside of MIT have been deployed at several Midwestern colleges and universities.
