On September 12, 2022, the Public History Project’s premiere exhibition, Sifting & Reckoning: UW–Madison’s History of Exclusion and Resistance, will open at the Chazen Museum of Art. Spanning more than 150 years of UW–Madison history, the exhibition brings to light stories of struggle and perseverance. Through archival objects, photographs, and oral histories the exhibition will illuminate under-recognized histories in the university’s past.
