Description
The thriving comix culture boldly visualized the dissent and social exploration of the 1960s. This exhibition looks at comix as an art form and includes original art, printed pages and covers. Early work by Robert Crumb, Art Spiegelman, Harvey Pekar and Bill Griffith, and the ongoing work of their contemporaries and followers, will be on view. Curated by James Danky and Denis Kitchen.
