“Territorial Remainders in Patricio Guzman’s Geographical Triptych”

This lecture will discuss film director Patricio Guzman’s geographical triptych which was was made widely available on Chilean televisions on the eve of President Boric's recent inaugration. This was a dramatic, if under-thematized event, not least because historically Chilean television has either censored Guzman’s films or used decontextualized slivers of footage to undermine them.
