Starting to Save for Retirement

UW‒Madison employees who are more than 15 years from retirement will learn how the choices they make today can affect income and insurance options as a retiree. Topics include investing for retirement; a review of the retirement plans offered to UW‒Madison employees; How the Wisconsin Retirement System pension program is calculated; pros and cons of saving sick leave for retiree insurance credit; and more. The session also presents free and reduced cost resources for saving for retirement.
