Elder-in-Residence

The Fall 2022 Elder-in-Residence, November 14-18, will be Ms. Janice Rice, a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation. She will participate in a variety of community events, visit classes, and be available to engage with students directly during her residency.

The Elder-in-Residence program seeks to provide students with access to crucial cultural resources, to strengthen partnerships between Tribal Nations and the University, and to improve the campus experience and retention of Native students.
