14.7 is excited to announce our second fall colloquium, "Atmosphere Beyond the Midlatitudes."
Ángel Adames-Corraliza (UW-Madison Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences), Jen Rose Smith (UW-Madison Geography), and Monique Allewaert (UW-Madison English) will deliver short presentations focused on the weather phenomena of the tropics and poles to interrogate the implicitly colonizing midlatitudinal frame through which air sciences and stories are often told.
