Description
*VIRTUAL TALK* Bill Boos is an associate professor at the University of California- Berkeley with research interests in climate dynamics, monsoons and Earth’s hydrological cycle. This talk will look at recent progress in understanding the mechanisms of genesis and amplification of monsoon depressions. Additionally, Bill will discuss historical trends in the frequency, location, and rain rates of monsoon depressions and present high-resolution global climate model projections of their future.
