Time
3:30-5 p.m.
Description
Lorenzo Zampieri is a postdoctoral researcher at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) Paleo and Polar Climate. This talk will discuss the current model development activities at NCAR, focusing on the role of the snow over sea ice and its impact on the thermodynamics during the winter months. Additionally, it will discuss strategies for an effective model development process, taking into consideration the harmonization of new developments with preexisting model infrastructure.
